The Nordic Council of Ministers (NCM) is an intergovernmental organisation that facilitates cooperation among the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) and their self-governing territories. The NCM works to promote sustainable development, democracy, and social welfare in the region and beyond.

In the run-up to COP26, the NCM has been actively involved in promoting sustainable development and climate action. The NCM’s climate change manifesto, which was unveiled by Thinking Hat as part of their role as the communications partner, outlines the region’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
